DAY 15 - Depart Cali or Bogotá

I had heard that in Colombia there’s a lot of birds and as a professional bird photographer, Colombia is like a dream destination. When I had the chance to go there I did not hesitate at all. I had heard about Juan Carlos and Go Birding Colombia as a very knowledgeable company about Colombian wild birds, and when we arrive at the airport he was personally already there to pick us up. His uses very comfortable cars, with wide seats and lot of space at the trunk so we could fit all of our heavy stuff pretty easy. Juan Carlos and his driver Darien helped us along the whole trip, setting many details to shot our best photos, he is a very kind and helpful man. The accommodation and food were brilliant, our group was more than happy and very excited. He was not just our guide but also he became our friend, we all love him. Juan took us to different places every day so we got different kind of birds every day too. There were dozens and dozens of hummingbird species. We came back home very full feeling and looking forward to going back. Thank you so much Juan Carlos, because you did a wonderful job. Do not hesitate to contact him if you want to do a bird photography tour in Colombia.
